She distracts him to distraction,
This can’t be very pleasant
She has taken over his days
She has robbed him of nightmares
Every task, every trip, every spree
He wonders how it would be
Will she love it or will she hate
In his mind there’s a constant debate
Is it right or is it wrong?
To each other do we even belong?
Will it last or will it not?
Will he be happy or will he be fraught?
So many questions and all of them deep
Should he walk, or this Persian keep?
As he looks into her blue eyes,
She purrs softly and he decides
He is hers and she is by all means his…
It’s surely a gamble, but it is, what it is…
